Nepalgunj IT Student Community (NISC) was started by Sushant Budha and Bharat Rawal in 2023 with a simple but powerful idea — to create a platform where students and young people interested in IT could connect, learn, and grow together.
In places like Nepalgunj and nearby regions, many students are interested in technology but often lack proper guidance, exposure, and opportunities. Most learning happens individually, without a strong community to support or guide the journey. Realizing this gap, we decided to take a step forward and build something that could bring people together.
NISC was not created as a big organization from the beginning. It started as a small initiative with a vision to build a supportive IT environment in Nepalgunj. The goal was simple — organize sessions, invite mentors, share knowledge, and create a space where learning feels practical and accessible.
From the early days, we focused on real conversations rather than just theory. Whether it’s through meetups, online sessions, or collaborations, the aim has always been to provide value and encourage people to take action in their own journey.
One important realization we had along the way is that a community cannot grow with just two people. It needs active participation, ideas, and support from everyone involved. NISC is not just about the founders — it is about every individual who joins, contributes, and believes in building something meaningful together.
